Business Services Officer

The Financial Ombudsman Service is a national organisation, located in the Melbourne CBD that provides independent dispute resolution service for most banking, insurance and investment disputes in Australia.

We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our fun and friendly Business Services Team. Working full time hours Monday to Friday, you will act as the first point of contact for FOS and provide customer service and administration support services for the various business units of FOS.

Reporting to the Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and handling enquires
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing communications including standard mail, facsimiles and email
  • Prepare, collate and photocopy files Data processing as required

The ideal candidate is motivated by customer service excellence and will have strong experience in customer service and administration, particularly in handling high volume of telephone calls. The ability to work in a team is a must as is the ability to deliver a high quality of customer service.
