Panel Team Assistant

An opportunity has arisen for a Panel Team Assistant to join our Investments, Life Insurance and Superannuation area, which resolves complaints about life insurance, financial planning, investments, stock broking, and managed funds.

The main purpose of this role is to provide accurate and timely support to the Panel Case Team with secretarial, administrative and reporting tasks.

Reporting to the Manager - Panel Team Assistants, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Typing (including dictation typing) of letters, memos, draft Determinations and other documents
  • Liaising with members of the Panel Case Team regarding the issuing of Determinations
  • Other general administrative duties including, mail, handling telephone calls, filing, faxing and photocopying

The ideal candidate has the following skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level secretarial support preferably within the Legal industry
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to deliver high attention to detail, organisation and efficiency.
