Now in its fourth year, the Home Buyer Show attracts thousands of consumers from first home buyers to investors. Exhibitors include lenders, insurers, conveyancers and developers promoting their products and services alongside various government and other independent agencies offering unbiased information and advice on all aspects of home buying and selling. These include the Australian Taxation Office and local offices of State Revenue and Fair Trading.

At the Financial Ombudsman Service stand, our staff will be on hand to offer information and answer any questions you may have about how we can help should you ever find yourself in dispute with a financial services provider.

We will also be presenting a daily seminar on the First Home Buyer Stage. We all know that home loans and insurance products can be complex and there are many options to choose from. In the seminar, we will draw on our experience resolving disputes to highlight important issues you should consider before making the biggest financial decisions of your life, and explain how the Financial Ombudsman Service can help if something goes wrong.
