Mortgage Wellbeing Service Keynote

FOS Lead Ombudsman Philip Field is the keynote speaker for this gathering marking one year of operation of the Mortgage Wellbeing Service.

The Mortgage Wellbeing Service is an integrated legal and health wellbeing program, providing legal, social work and financial counselling to people experiencing mortgage stress in Melbourne’s western region.

Clients of the Mortgage Wellbeing Service can see a free lawyer, financial counsellor and social worker for advice, representation and support in relation to their financial hardship and its impact on their health and families.

The Mortgage Wellbeing Service aims to help people experiencing mortgage stress.  In addition to advice and support, it provides community education and information on mortgage stress and the impacts, as well as undertaking systemic reform work.
