Financial Ombudsman Service "members" are Financial Services Providers who have chosen the Financial Ombudsman Service to be their ASIC-approved external dispute resolution scheme. If you are a consumer or small business and you have a problem with a financial product or service that you have been unable to resolve directly with your Financial Services Provider, we may be able to assist if your Financial Services Provider is a member of the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Getting started The first step in resolving your dispute is to talk to your Financial Services Provider’s internal dispute resolution area. You can check whether your Financial Services Provider is a member of the Financial Ombudsman Service and find their internal dispute resolution contact details using our index below.
How to search Members are listed in alphabetical order. If possible, you should look for your Financial Services Provider under its corporate name rather than its trading name. The corporate name should be located on your Financial Services Provider’s letterhead or bills. Where the Financial Services Provider has provided details of its trading name to us then these details will also appear in our list. To search:
